I know first-hand how shocking it feels when you’ve done your best to honor God in courtship & engagement –only to experience incredible conflict in your new marriage. How could this be happening? I thought. We did premarital counseling. We were intentional about every detail leading up to our marriage. Yet, we still hit a big low early in. I still remember feeling ill-equipped and unprepared to handle the arguments and fights we never saw coming. But praise God, this was not the end of our marriage. In fact, through the guidance and counsel of our elder John Mack and his wife, Amia Mack, the reconciliation and resolutions that came about afterward have made our marriage so sweet.
